Problems with Office Error 1327?

Most of the time error 1327 occurs during the installation of a program and more times than not that installation is Microsoft Office. If you get the error during your installation of Office I suggest fixing it with a repair tool right away (not too important if it's before or after installation.) If you don't fix it you could be heading more other Office issues down the line. It's always better to be safe than sorry, you never truly know what your registry errors can lead to until it is too late.

How to Fix Error 1327

After running the free tool your installation of Microsoft Office should run perfectly fine. What the tool basically does is replace the information in your registry that has become corrupt. I believe it also backs up your data for security (just in case something goes wrong during repair.) Losing any of your Office files or information would be pretty terrible so I can see why they would have that feature.

Microsoft Office is typically a great suite of programs and in my experiece runs rather flawlessly (especially on Vista and the new Windows 7.) In the past, I've run into a few issues on my clients computers but they were usually just small registry problems almost identical to error 1327. If you're all out frustrated there are free alternatives such as OpenOffice that are finally popping up but I don't think their support for errors and the likes that good just yet. Maybe in a few years we'll all be using free office software?
